Abstract
Purpose: Public housing in Korea felt the need for floor plan modification, but it is not actively used even now. However, due to a complete change in the current lifestyle, Variable housing has become mandatory, and it is time for a plane to accept social phenomena. This study analyzed overseas cases with variability applied. We would like to propose a representative variable type by applying the theory to happy housing. Method: This work first identifies the history and type of housing variability through theoretical considerations related to the variability of housing. Next, the first study to present residential variability, Support system, was selected and considered. Through this, we investigate and analyze the variable cases of Support system applied to European public housing. Finally, the support system was applied to the floor plan of each type of happy house in Korea, and the representative variable type of happy house was proposed. Result: Neither of the planes of each type of happy house showed any change in location between beta sectors due to Korea
