Abstract
We report a case series of 14 consecutive patients diagnosed with West Nile virus neuroinvasive disease during the period 2018‐2019 in a regional hospital in Serres, Greece and discuss the possibility to use erythrocyte sedimentation rate to C‐reactive protein ratio as a readily available screening marker for WNND in sites with limited diagnostic capacity. Further studies are required to validate the accuracy of this biomarker in a clinically relevant setting. Keywords
