Abstract
The beam-pointing error of an(M + 1) \times (N + 1)planar phased array is analyzed by the use of both analytical and Monte Carlo techniques. Simple formulas for the rms pointing error are obtained for uniform planar arrays with both uniform and Gaussian uncorrelated phase-error distributions and for any arbitrary scan angle. Keywords
