Particle Size of Paris Green as Related to Toxicity and Repellency to the Mexican Bean Beetle

Abstract
Paris green particles with an average diam. of 1.1 [mu] caused higher mortalities of the Mexican bean beetle (Epilachna varivestis) and permitted less feeding when applied, either as a spray or as a dust, to bean foliage, than did particles of 12 [mu], which were intermediate, and 22 [mu], which caused the lowest mortality and permitted the greatest amt. of feeding.
