Abstract
The injn. of 90 [mu]g. of estradiol benzoate into 2.5-4.5 kg. ovariectomized rabbits increased the concn. of phospholipids and nucleic acids in both endometrium and myometrium. Progesterone (2.4 mg.) increased these substances in the endometrium only. Both hormones increased the incorporation of radioactive P into these compounds in the myometrium; but progesterone produced a greater effect than estrogen on the endometrial P turnover. Keywords
