Abstract
Fibrinolysin from the culture filtrate of a group A B-hemolytic streptococcus was not identical with enterokinase prepared from pig duodenum. Evidence was presented, also, that serum protease and trypsinogen are not identical and that the fibrinolysin-serum protease system (I) differs in specificity from the enterokinase-trypsinogen system (II). Each kinase was specific for its corresponding enzyme system, and I but not II was inhibited by antifibrinolysin.
