The Circulation of the Blood in Alcohol Addicts; The Cardiac Output at Rest and During Moderate Exercise

Abstract
Hemodynamic data obtained in 13 alcohol addicts in the resting state are presented. In 10 subjects the response to exercise was studied. At rest, the cardiac output, arterial pressure and peripheral vascular resistance were normal. The response to mild or moderate exercise did not differ from that seen in temperate subjects and may be considered normal.
