INCREASED URINARY ESTROGEN AND 17-KETOSTEROID EXCRETION ASSOCIATED WITH ADRENAL ADENOMA. ISOLATION OF CHOLESTANE-DIONE-3;6 FROM THE TUMOR

Abstract

Many cases of adrenal tumor accompanied by increased urinary excretion of estrogens and 17-ketosteroids have been reported. We should like to present another interesting case, in which we had the opportunity to make thorough clinical and hormonal investigations, and to isolate cholestane-dione-3,6 from the tumor.
