Abstract
Charge-transfer cross sections of + Cs and + K are calculated by the impact-parameter method using suitable atomic wave functions. The theoretical cross sections as a function of ion velocity show oscillatory structure in qualitative agreement with the experimental values given by Perel and co-workers.
