Amyloid Degeneration of the Human Brain Following X-Ray Therapy

Abstract

Two cases of degeneration of the human brain following an overdose of X-ray are reported. The predominant histologic feature was a formation of an amorphous substance of an amyloid character in the areas of the brain which were exposed to the X-rays.
