Abstract
The effect of point imperfections on lattice thermal conductivity is discussed with particular attention to the case in which the temperature is low but the normal three-phonon scattering is still dominant. The experimental results of Walker and Fairbank on the conductivity of isotopic mixtures of solid helium are analyzed. Keywords
