Abstract
Synthetic derivatives of the phosphonateantibiotic dehydrophos were tested for antimicrobial activity. Both the phosphonate monomethyl ester and the vinyl phosphonate moiety proved to be important for bacteriocidal activity of the natural product.Keywords
