Abstract
The distal portion of the left ulna of a pterosaur has been discovered in Upper Cretaceous marine sediments in New Zealand. This is the first evidence of a pterosaur from New Zealand, the third from the Late Cretaceous of the southern hemisphere, and represents the extreme southern occurrence of a pterosaur. It is not referable to any described taxon known from comparable material.Keywords
