Abstract
The Lewis acid-catalyzed, three-component reaction of isatin and two 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds is reported. Reactions proceed with high efficiency under mild reaction conditions and with good functional group tolerance to afford spirooxindole pyranochromenedione derivatives. Keywords
