Abstract
A nonlinear current-mode circuit representation, suitable for a laboratorial realisation, of the Hodgkin and Huxley (HH) nerve axon membrane equations is presented. The representation exploits the inherent properties of the recently proposed ‘Bernoulli cell’ to calculate the intermediate state variables used in the HH neuron equations. Keywords
