Abstract
A new myoprocessor is described which produces a relatively smooth and accurate measure of a muscle's electrical activity during both slow and rapid movements. This is achieved partly by spatial averaging of weakly correlated EMG signals from electrodes distributed over the surface of the muscle. Keywords
