Abstract
CAUTERY IS often performed in close proximity to cranial nerves during head and neck surgery. This can result in neural injury beyond the cauterized site. The potential neuromuscular morbidity is underreported in the head and neck literature as well as in that of other surgical fields.1-3Keywords
