Abstract
Two-and three-dimensional numerical simulations of the formation of the Eltanin submarine impact structure are described. Based on the numerical results, the impactor size can be estimated, its destruction and the subsequent motion of fragments can be described, and the initial amplitude of the tsunami wave can be determined. Keywords
