Abstract
With the method of retrograde transport of horseradish peroxidase it has been demonstrated that neurones within the “chemosensitive area” of the brainstem project to the thoracic intermediolateral column. The function of these neurones is discussed in regard to the regulation of blood pressure. Keywords
