New species are: Cryptosporidium rhesi from the rhesus monkey, Macaca mulatta; C. serpentis from the snakes Elaphe guttata, E. subocularis, Crotalus horridus and Sanzinia madagascarensis; Eimeria perazae from the lizard Cnemidophorus l. lemniscatus; and E. tarichae from the salamander Taricha torosa. New combinations are Orcheobius carinii (= Cariniella carinii Pinto, 1926) from the frog Leptodactylus ocellatus; Schellackia calotesi (= Gordonella calotesi Ray et Sarkar, 1969) from the lizard Calotes versicolor; S. iguanae (= Lainsonia iguanae Landau, 1973) from the lizard Iguana iguana; S. weinbergi (= Haemogregarina weinbergi Leger et Mouzels, 1917) from the lizard Tupinambis nigropunctatus; Dorisa harpia (= Dorisiella harpia Sinha et Dasgupta, 1980) from the bat Harpiocephalus harpia lasyurus; Barrouxia labbei (= Echinospora labbei Leger, 1897) from the centipedes Lithobius mutabilis and L. pyrenaicus; and B. ventricosa (= E. ventricosa Leger 1898) from L. hexodus. Lainsonia and Gordonella are synonymized with Schellackia; Echinospora with Barrouxia; and Cariniella with Orcheobius.
