Hoarding and inbred strains of mice.

Abstract

Using data obtained from 3 inbred strains of mice, additive, dominant, and environmental sources of variance in hoarding behavior were estimated and minimum and maximum estimates of heritability were computed. Bruell''s method of analysis, using data from inbred strains only, yielded findings in general agreement with those obtained in studies where crossbred Ss[subjects] were used.
