Abstract
This paper describes a highly integrated MMIC transceiver (1.57 mm/spl times/3.4 mm) for 2.4 GHz ISM band direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) applications. The transceiver consists of a low noise receiver chain, a linear transmitter chain, and an LO amplifier switched between T/R modes. The small die size, generic architecture, low current consumption, and positive control logic make this transceiver suitable for emerging wireless communication markets.<>Keywords
