Benign“ and ”malignant“ neoplasms associated with verrucae vulgares

Abstract

Eighty neoplasms with various patterns of differentiation were encountered in biopsy specimens that showed histologic features of verrucae vulgares. On the basis of these observations, we conclude that common warts may induce benign and malignant neoplasms in the skin.
