A DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN PHOTOSENSITIZED AND ULTRA-VIOLET EFFECTS ON FROGS

Abstract
Photosensitized frogs irradiated with visible light exhibit similar reactions to those produced in non- ssensitized frogs irradiated with u.-y. The 2 effects may be differentiated, however, by the fact that u.-v. effects occur in the presence or absence of O, but the photosensitized effects only in the presence of O. Thus, the 2 processes must be considered as essentially different.
