Abstract
Distribution of waiting-time intervals between the arrivals of successive photons on a photocathode illuminated by a beam of light is discussed. Analytic expressions for the conditional and unconditional distributions for squeezed light are derived in the high degeneracy limit. Results for binomial and thermocoherent states are also given. Curves are presented to illustrate the behavior. Keywords
