Abstract
Studies on the streptococcal epidemiology of impetigo in children below 12 yr of age in Addis, Ababa, Ethiopia, indicated that most streptococci isolated belonged to the classic serological impetigo strains. Streptococcal type 9 seemed to be a new impetigo strain. Several cases of severe acute glomerulonephritis on impetigo basis were observed during the study. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
