Abstract
Determination of the hepatic blood flow from the elimination and hepatic extraction of Cardio Green and of bromsulfalein is compared in 8 patients. The averages of the 2 flow determinations agree well, but sometimes great individual differences are found. The cause of these difference is unknown, but they are believed largely to be due to differences in regional extraction of the 2 dyes. Cardio Green cannot be preferred to bromsulfalein for determination of hepatic blood except in special cases. Keywords
