Abstract
It is revealed that phosphate ion functionalization of transition metal phosphides can achieve outstanding alkaline hydrogen evolution performance. Herein, the obtained phosphate ion functionalized CoP nanowire arrays exhibit high hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity (an overpotential of 112 mV to afford 100 mA cm−2), a low Tafel slope (49 mV dec−1) and outstanding stability in 1.0 M KOH.Keywords
