Disorder in ferroelectrics: Relaxation effects

Abstract
A model of a displacive ferroelectric in which phonons couple to local excitations which are associated with disorder is used to discuss the effects of relaxation of the disorder excitations on the low frequency dielectric constant, on the quasi-elastic response, and on the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation.Keywords
