The Vector Coupling in the Nickel-, Palladium-, and Platinum-Like Spectra

Abstract

Spectroscopic data.—The $5d^{9}6s$ and $5d^{9}6p$ configurations are identified among the known levels of Pt I, and partly identified in Tl IV and Pb V. The lines observed in the condensed spark discharge of thallium $\lambda 868$ to $\lambda 1070$ and lead $\lambda 477$ to $\lambda 1280$ are listed.
