Abstract
Among three strains of the one breed, and among sire families within each strain, there were highly significant differences in ability of chicks to tolerate a deficiency of arginine at ages up to 4 weeks. One of these strains required about 25 percent more arginine than another for maximum growth to that age. Keywords
