Abstract
A simple apparatus has been developed for the study of the respiratory quotient and basal metabolism of mice. Data are given which indicate that the values for the respiratory quotient obtained are accurate to within 0.02. The apparatus is especially designed for rapid, routine manipulation.Keywords
