Entomophthora coronata was isolated from a soil sample collected from a beach near Sydney and from straw collected from a fowl yard; Anixiopsis stercoraria from a soil sample collected in southern Australia; Curvularia lunata from 2 soil samples collected in western Australia; Chrysosporium sp. was isolated from New Guinea (4 samples), Victoria (5 samples), southern Australia (7 samples), Queensland (11 samples), western Australia (2 samples), New South Wales (15 samples).
