Abstract
A modified procedure is presented for the determination of thiamin in urine avoiding the isolation of thiamin from urine. Blank and standard tubes are used for each sample that correct for native fluorescence in urine as well as for factors appearing to quench thiochrome fluorescence. The modified procedure yields results comparable to those obtained with the widely employed ICNND procedure. Keywords
