Abstract
Measures of association for cross classifications are frequently used in expressing the relationship between traits in medical literature. These indices are often employed to measure the strength of association between different characteristics, and to hierarchically order the relationship between different traits and the incidence of a disease. The effect of systematic errors of classification on the index, known as relative risk, is presented together with an approach for use in the presence of misclassification. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
