Abstract
The occurrence of hereditary brachydactylia in the rabbit is described. The mutation is apparently a simple recessive character. The mutant character is of especial interest because of its close resemblance to well-known human affections with the implication of a genetic relation in the series of abnormalities affecting the hands and feet and the definite extension of the developmental disturbance well beyond the site of obvious deformity.
