Abstract
Experiments on 5 dogs indicate that the period required for the development of the anorexia characteristic of lack of the vitamin B complex is markedly less with forced exercise than without it. This supports the interpretation given in earlier studies, that the vitamin B requirement per unit of tissue mass is proportional to the metabolism of that mass; other investigators have also demonstrated a relationship between vitamin B and metabolism. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
