Abstract
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy is a heritable heart-muscle disorder that causes progressive replacement of right ventricular myocardium by fibrofatty tissue. Mutations in genes encoding desmosomal proteins play a key role in the pathogenesis of the disease. Keywords
