Abstract
Two new methods of parameter determination of non-radioactive removal of radioactive aerosols from the atmosphere by cloud systems are discussed in the present paper. Theoretical considerations of the processes of capturing radioactive aerosols by cloud droplets are still fraught with a number of restrictions. They can be partly accounted for not only by the complication of the problem under review but also by the lack of information on microphysical characteristics of cloud systems and processes operative in them. The drawback of the present investigation is the assumption of stationarity of the processes in a cloud but the first stage of the investigation did not enable us to omit this assumption. The parameter A permits us to determine experimentally the coagulation coefficient K of cloud droplets with aerosol particles. DOI: 10.1111/j.2153-3490.1966.tb00267.xKeywords
