A review of the literature and a case report of a seminoma-like tumor found in a hyperplastic thymus gland are presented. This tumor is compared to seminoma of the testicle as to radiosensitivity. We believe that combined surgical exploration and en bloc radiation therapy is the treatment of choice for mediastinal seminoma-like tumors.
