The 2023 Top Cited Scholars were calculated based on the Top Cited Papers published over the decade from 2013 to 2022. These TCP data were last updated on 15 December 2022.
Scholar Type
Scilit provides two kinds of lists, one is for all the scholars, and another is for Young Scholars whose academic age is less than 10 years. Academic age: the span of years from their first indexed publications in Scilit until the present.
Affiliation
We use the main affiliation which means the affiliation that the author has used most in the past two years. Currently, the number of publishers making affiliation data openly available is still limited.
Country
The countries are matched from affiliation data or via matching institutes from the affiliation data of publications.
Calculation
