Abstract
The Audubon cottontail, Sylvilagus audubonii arizonae, is a common mammal of the desert regions of southern Arizona. It is found from the lowest elevations in the state, about 100 feet above sea level in southwestern Arizona, to an elevation of about 4,000 feet above sea level on the slopes of the desert mountain ranges in southeastern Arizona.
