Antiproton-proton charge exchange between 1 and 3 GeV/c

Abstract

We have measured the reaction cross section for $\overline{p}p\to \overline{n}n$ in small momentum steps between 0.97 and 3.13 Gev/c to a high level of statistical accuracy. Structures are observed in the vicinity of $P_{\mathrm{lab}}=1.25\mathrm{} \frac{\mathrm{GeV}}{c} \mathrm{and} 1.8 \frac{\mathrm{GeV}}{c}$ which are consistent with the structure observed in the $\overline{p}p$ total cross section.
