On the Numerical Solution of a Quasi-Linear Elliptic Equation

Abstract

A boundary value problem for the quasi-linear elliptic equation ( x _x / q ^{2 s} ) _x + ( x _y / q ^{2 s} ) _y = 0, where q ² = x _x ² + x _y ² , 0 ≤ s < 1/2, is solved numerically, and the numerical process is analyzed mathematically.
