Abstract
The above letters were referred to the authors of the article in question, who offer the following reply: To the Editor: We had submitted in tabulated form the pertinent information on the 36 patients in whom halothane was assumed by the contributing physicians to have been the cause of the fulminant hepatic failure. Limitations of space in the Journal, however, precluded the publication of these details.The primary purpose of the Fulminant Hepatic Failure Surveillance Study is to learn about this clinical syndrome.
