Abstract
Small aneurysms associated with the conjunctival vessels were found in 55 out of 100 diabetics and in 7 out of 50 non-diabetics. The aneurysms were more commonly found when there was also a diabetic retino-pathy. It is suggested that diabetes may be part of a generalized vascular disease affecting the retina, glomeruli, islets of Langerhans and conjunctiva. Keywords
