The growth of various cells in culture was not affected by injn. of emulsions or application of solns. of DDT. In one expt. the cells were exposed in hanging drop cultures; in a 2d expt. they were given prolonged exposure to a weak soln. of DDT in roller tube cultures; and in a 3d expt. they were given short exposure to conc. DDT emulsion in roller tube cultures.
