Abstract
An ultrastructural study of the nucleolus of P. lividus embryos was carried out after treatment with actinomycin D. The fibrillar component of the nucleolus persisted in embryos treated in the mesenchyme blastula stage and fixed 24 and 48 h after fertilization. Results are discussed in relation to RNA synthesis. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
