Abstract
We study the Derrida generalized random energy model and its resulting probability law for the weights of the (free) energy levels. We show that it can be used to represent the (degenerate) free energies of the mean field spin glass thus completing the picture proposed by Mézard-Parisi and VirasoroKeywords
