Abstract
In eight cases of linear porokeratosis, the skin lesions appeared most commonly over the extremities during childhood and were clinically mistaken for linear verrucous epidermal nevus or lichen striatus. In a review of the literature, only seven instances of linear porokeratosis were found. We believe that linear porokeratosis should be recognized as a distinctive clinical variant and that the condition should be taken into consideration in the differential diagnosis of linear keratotic cutaneous eruptions. Keywords
